Reviews of this property
nice flat in a quiet area,Bos en Lommer, we found it very suitable for a bicycle holiday.
Ir was a very nice staying in Zina's apartment. With a good communication to the center, all good! Thank you Zina
A very nice Apartment, with everything what you need. Supermarket was in the near, the Tram Station. It was Great. Thank you .. And the Host was very friendly.
Zina was a great host i was late due to a 2 hour delay with travelling, he was great and even came to meet us and pick us up and take us to the apartment. He was on hand to ask anything and he lets you know what is about for shopping food and wine and if you are traveling by trams/buses they are a few steps away from the apartment.
The arpartment was a bit further away from what it looks like on the map, but my partner and i found our own short cuts which was great.
The apartment was clean and perfect for 2 the shower is great needed some body sizes towels but for a few days we made do.
Ground floor was nice can get a bit chilly sometimes but once heating it was fine.
One down side is the church bells, as the church is on the other side of th road from the apartment and can get a bit annoying if trying to watch tv in the evenings (rings late at night too).
Overall the apartment and host were great, i love the city of Amsterdam so my partner and i will be back hopefully maybe we would stay here again if Zina would have us ;-)
Happy New Year xxx
Before writing this review, I asked myself if we are a bit picky. Answer: No, if we pay for the stay, we expect a clean floor, fresh linen without hairs and not to find wet towels in the washing machine later. Cups/dinnerware also not the tidiest.
Positive: When there was a problem with the water (caused by the neighbours), Hamid was there within a short time.
The flat is as described, nice sofa, a bit difficult to read in the evening as there's no light on the bed and the one in the living room has only 2 of 5 bulbs. Good heating.
Location to Schiphol is fine due to the proximity to Sloterdijk Station. Tram 12 stops close by, but needs some time to the city center.
My girlfriend and I much enjoyed our 2-nights stay at Zina's 2-room appartment in Amsterdam. It is not very noisy at night and located about 10 minutes away from the city centre by bike or by bus. The appartment has all basic facilities like Wi-Fi, 2 Tvs, shower, fridge, microwave, hob etc. Overall, I would discribe it as an average appartment and perfectly fine for a short stay. Furthermore, I want to highlight Zina and her boyfriend's kindness and flexibility. When we got lost on our arrival, we got picked up from the bus station, bikes got organised for us and brought to the appartment, and they were flexible regarding the check out time as well.
Nice place comfortably located close to the city center. The accomodation is decent and holds pretty much everything you need for a city trip. The host is very nice and ready to help where he can. When coming by car one should consider that parking is expensive except on Sunday - we parked the car about 15 minutes away due to that. The apartment is right across a school - so for a teacher this is something you might wanna consider as it is a constant work reminder and the kids are coming in (loud and proud) at about 7.30 to 8.30 in the mornings. We were travelling with our baby (7 months) and I felt the floor was too cold for her - so I would not choose a ground floor apt again - but that is on my part. Aside from that the apartment is a very good choice.
A nice and clean apartment, Not far from from city center by tram. The owner picked up us from airport and he had very useful information for us and he was very nice. Very flexible for check-in and check-out. We enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam and if we were to come back, we would definitely contact him again.
Very neat and clean appartment in a calm neighborhood with a very friendly and helpful host. The next bus stop is ca. 5 min. away and from there it takes 15-20 min. to get to the Amsterdam Centraal train station. The appartment is equipped with basically everything you need, which includes: a very comfy bed, a great sofa, a home theatre, a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen, etc... The only piece of furniture I was missing was a table with two seats in the kitchen, but that's basically the only (minor) complaint I have.
