Small, but very nice room in a nice, clean flat. Whitechapel station is quite near, around it are a couple of supermarkets as well, so shopping can just be done on the way back, no longer walks required for that.
There is no internet connection.. wifi works perfectly but the router is not connected.
I ask politely Kazzos to find a solution, he told me he'd have sent somebody to fix it but nobody came. He totally ignored me probably why he know there is nothing to be fixed, just BILLS TO BE PAID!!! I was supposed to be working a few hours a day during my holidays but i couldnt. I wouldnt book again a room with him.
Check-in went smoothly with a key box. The room itself was very neat, but smelled strongly of fire upon entering. The room key must always insert something oblique, because otherwise it can not be turn, this is very annoying in the long run. The door made noises often because this was not really maintained properly in the anchorage.
The first two days was the bathroom relatively dirty and the water did not drain, so we had to shower in the mud of the other residents. After an e-mail to the gas Teber the issue is resolved.
Der Check-In lief problemlos über einen Schlüsselkasten. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr ordentlich, roch jedoch bei Betreten stark nach Feuer. Den Zimmerschlüssel muss man immer etwas Schräg einstecken, da er sich ansonsten nicht drehen lässt, dies ist auf Dauer sehr nervig. Auch machte die Tür öfter Geräusche, da diese nicht wirklich richtig in der Verankerung gehalten wurde.
Die ersten beiden Tage war das Badezimmer relativ dreckig und das Wasser floss nicht ab, wodurch man im Dreck der anderen Bewohner duschen musste. Nach einer E-Mail an den Gasteber wurde das Problem behoben.
The apartment is in a well connected area of London, close to both train and underground stations within 10 minutes walking distance. When we arrived we had a very difficult time retrieving the keys from the safe-lockbox located outside the door - as it turned out, the owner had given us the incorrect combination. Although it was frustrating, we were able to get into contact with him via telephone right away. When we opened the lock box, our room keys weren't inside even though it was after 3, the designated check in time. We decided to just leave the bags and go to the center. After we returned later that evening, the keys were in the lock box and so we could enter into the room. The room was clean and was as advertised. The bed was what you'd expect from paying this price, and the pillows were flat (I recommend that you bring your own). Our individual room locked just fine, but we had issues locking the front door, most of the time we had to just leave it unlocked because the bolt was stuck. The bathroom was alright, the toilet and shower are in separate rooms, both rooms barely big enough to fit a person and the appliances. However everything functioned properly and was clean. My boyfriend was too tall for the shower, he's about 188cm - but there was always hot water even though there was an entire apartment full of people showering one right after the other. Also ladies, there are no outlets in the bathroom, so any hairstyling had to happen in the bedroom. The kitchen was modest, but included everything we needed on a basic level. We just bought our own breakfast, but the apartment had some cereals, coffee, and tea. There is only one small pot and one small pan in the kitchen. That's all the useful information I can give - it was a good place to stay on our budget, I don't have any major complaints - it was no Ritz Carlton, but you get what you pay for.
Among the advantages:
+ Very central, most bus stops for bus and train can be reached in 5-15 minutes on foot
+ Very cheap
+ Cleanliness is good (not piccobello but already fits)
+ Tesco (supermarket) in less walking minutes
+ 5-minute walk away from Brick Lane
Now the cons:
- Breakfast consists of coffee, tea and cornflakes; but lack the milk! The you have to buy yourself, luckily the nearest supermarket is not far away
- Apartment is older, you can see that unfortunately (cracks in the walls, old windows and doors, older furniture
- Very noisy
Conclusion: ideal for a short stay in London, if you value a central location.

- Apartment ist schon älter, das sieht man leider (Risse in den Wänden, alte Fenster und Türen, ältere Möbel
- sehr hellhörig
Fazit: für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in London optimal, wenn man Wert auf eine zentrale Lage legt.
