Reviews of this property
Nice decorated flat with enough space.the kitchen can use a bigger table, if you stay with more then 2 its to small.there are only 2 relax chairs.the bedrooms are really lovely and spacious. Easy acces to shops, beach, market, metro.
Its a common neighbourhood with a lot of noise.
The flat is on the Fifth flour and no elevator! There was no contact with the host accept handing over the key.
Overall a good flat for a good price.
Beautiful apartment with all included, beach umbrella and toys too. At 300 metres beach, supermarket and a market. Buses and tram for Valencia center at 200 or 400 metres every 10 minute. Underground to airport at 1 kilometers. Only a problem, 5 floor without lift (elevator)... baggage are heavy!
Reviews for this host's other properties
The only positive about this apartment was the price and its proximity to the beach. Terrible internet, uncomfortable bed, cheap and half broken kitchen ware and a blind in the sitting room that doesn't close. Without a diffuser the place smells of sewage, despite it being all the way up on the 5th floor (conveniently no mention of that in the advert).
On arrival I was just handed the key by someone who left as soon as I stept through the door. No tour, explaining, or wecome of some sort (so also no way of determining breakages or problems that are already there and you can be accused of after!)
The apartment block is very very noisy. I think we were sandwiched between 2 families who argued all the time, to the extend you wanted to call either the police or social services. Nothing worse to be forced to listen to whilst lying in bed, or having dinner.
Our stay at this apartment served a purpose, we know Valencia pretty well, but for a lovely relaxing holiday, this would certainly not be my choice. Probably the worst we stayed in so far.
This apartment is not as it was presented and is overpriced.
On the 5th floor of a poorly lit and maintained staircase.street level door is rarely locked.Furnishings are very basic, old and tired. No t.v. There is insufficient chairs for the number of people it accommodates.
Other listings on Wimdu for half the price.
Great Sunny appartment.. but not hot... 2 big bedrooms, seperate kitchen, clean , enough to cook, nice bathroom , good shower, near the beach, and shops, 5 minutes walk and also near the busses to the city centre and..... WIFI; We loved it;
An 8 for everything!!. Malina also so send someone to pick us up , after we took the wrong way when we came..
Unfortunately we have to announce that there were some flaws in the apartment: - shower was hot 30 sec. - Toilet bowl was loose - no television. - Pity there is one chair on the balcony. - The air conditioning can only briefly. We also had the sense to us!
The apartment is large and bright and very well served by public transport. With the bus one is in 10 minutes in the old town and the tram in 25 minutes on the beach. In the immediate vicinity there is everything you could need to live. However, the apartment is on the fifth floor without elevator (!). This is with suitcases, but also for people who are not so good on foot, a real problem. The decor is probably okay for Spanish standards. I still bought some kitchen utensils such as pan, knives etc. During our stay we have tried in vain, with the owner to get in touch. All in all there room for improvement, but overall the price / performance ratio was not great when, at least well enough. I would definitely rent this apartment again.
we were good, nice and functional apartment near the beach of the malvarrosa. we near market, bus stop, taxi stop, tobacco etc.. only flaw fourth floor but WITHOUT ELEVATOR!! o_O
ci siamo trovati bene, appartamento carino e funzionale vicino la spiaggia della malvarrosa. vicino avevamo market, fermata bus, fermata taxi, tabacchi ecc.
unica pecca quarto piano ma SENZA ASCENSORE !!!! o_O

First, The Wimdu process/system works very well. The transaction was easy, the communication good, the transfer of keys upon arrival, prompt.
I liked the location although it might give a newcomer pause. The neighborhood is plain-- not trendy or upscale by any means.
However, the neighborhood shops were great. I got shirts and pants at a local shop for about half the price of El Corte Ingles near city center.
Two supermarkets are within easy reach. Fruits and vegetable stands abound, although there was one small stand in particular where the owner was cheerful and friendly and patient with my pitifully small Spanish.
I am not Muslim, but I frequently stopped at a Halal Carnicaria on the same block-- the owner speaks English, French and Arabic and, of course, Spanish.
In fact, all the proprietors in the neighborhood were friendly and helpful without all that frantic shop, shop, shop near downtown's Colon area.
The metro is close, good and inexpensive-- get a ten card for 70 cent rides. The 6 train will take you directly to the beach. One connection to the 3 train at Benemaclet will take you to downtown with a 5-10 minute walk to Mercat Central.
The transportation system in Valencia is handicapped friendly-- perhaps more so than Madrid or even Berlin!
Busses abound, and the N2 night bus will get you from city center (in front of the Rialto Cinema) to within two blocks of the flat in about 15 minutes (although they run only every half hour at that time of night).
On the whole, we enjoyed the apartment although there were a few anomalies that the owner promised to address-- particularly, the air conditioner which is a must in July and August.
The spacious (by European standards) refrigerator must be set at the number 2 setting for proper cycling and defrost of the refrigerator section. This freezer section was very easy to defrost with a bowl of warm water in about 10-15 minutes.
The washing machine is a great convenience-- but follow the owner's instructions on the water softener and you will find you need only half the detergent you would normally use.
The front security door did not work, but the main door to the flat itself has an extraordinarily formidable deadbolt. Do not lose the key! ;-) It should be noted that I never felt any threat to our personal safety at any time day or night.
The oven should be carefully monitored on your first attempt of baking-- say a frozen pizza-- to make sure the thermostat is cycling properly.
The bidet drained slowly-- watch out! And one morning the toilet had difficulty in accepting a particularly generous donation-- a second flush might be in order.
On the other hand, the hot water is hot-- and plentiful; the wireless is easy to connect to and reliable; there are plenty of sheets and towels!
As you have probably gathered, this apartment is not upscale by any stretch of the imagination, but it is very spacious and the kitchen dining area is more than adequate.
Nonetheless, if you want to experience living like an everyday Valencian in an everyday Valencian neighborhood, this is the place.
This flat was one part of the absolutely marvelous month we spent in Valencia.
