A Cozy Apt close to Glyfada Center
- Family/child friendly
- Baby cot
The apartment is ideal for families or couples who want to spend their summer holidays in a beach side apartment, in one of the most elegant areas of Athens. The nearest beach is only 700 m away, but also there are plenty of organized beaches in Voula and Vouliagmeni area. During summer time the coast line of Glyfada, Voula & Vouliagmeni areas are very popular choice for swimming , walking and dinning. Located close to the sea we are enjoying the fresh sea breeze in the summer time compared to the more warm center but most important away from any traffic jams and all the demonstrations that take place in the center of Athens. The apartment is very close to a pharmacy, banks and public transport 300 m away from the apartment. There is a bus station from where you can take a bus to the city centre. 500 m away from the apartment there is a super market, a bakery and a pharmacy. Glyfada is a suburb of Athens, situated in the southern parts of the Athens Metropolitan Area. The area, which is home to many of Greece's millionaires, ministers and celebrities, stretches out from the foot of the Hymettus mountain and reaches out to embrace the Saronic Gulf. It is the largest of Athens' southern suburbs. This fashion-conscious suburb is known in Greece for its upmarket cafes, well-known restaurants, boutiques and cosmopolitan summer clubs; Glyfada has also been called "Knightsbridge-on-Sea", "Hellenic Hamptons", or the "Beverly Hills of Greece

we had a plaesant stay at George´s Apartment in Piraeus. The Apartment is perfectyl located in the centre of Piraeus
The apartment we stayed was clean and very spacious. We also asked for an airport transfer and it was made in quite reasonable price with no problems. Contact we Mr George is ok but I would really appreciate bigger support before we made a decision and chose his apartment.
If I can make any clues for your stay in Athens - book an apartment nearby the sea and don't worry about transport time or cost to city center ;)
the apartment is very good and clean, near the center. But we had a chick in delay of 2 hours (14:00 instead 12:00). In general, we are satisfied.
We have had a wonderful Holiday in House Roustika. A fantastic beutifull House! Everything was perfect and we were meat with great kindfullnes and hospitality from our contact person: Eleni and the People, that lived in the Village! We can warm recommend House Roustika for everyone.
Amazing clean and cozy apartment with everything you need. great and save area, we really enjoyed the stay and can warmly recommend George as a host ;-))

George was an excellent house manager, replied quickly and in detail for each request. The house is very nice, quite and clean, very bright with a fantastic view on Athens's harbour and more. Everything worked well. Pireaus area is not so comfortable to get beaches and Acropoli (it took about 45/55 minutes) but you can easily get buses and the metro stop is about 10' far away.
To make it simple: the house was a WRECK (broken chairs, 3 chairs for a house for 10, 1 bathroom instead of 2, dirty floors, dirty stuff in the cupboards, dirty plastic bottles near the pool, ... ). We called George to complain and to tell him that we would not stay in the house (we were with children), and managed to talk to him.
BUT, that was the only contact that we had: he did not return our following calls to discuss refund. We left him several messages but he did bot care.
In the end we did not stay in the house.
George is a great host, his apartment is very pleasant and robust. If you are looking to stay in that area, then it is the best place to stay. George was very attentive to my needs and made everything possible to accommodate my desires.
I would definately recommed the Apartment to everyone. It is fully renovated and modern decorated. George was a perfect Host and always very helpful.
The location is unbeatable for sure. Great Areas like Plaka, Acropolis, Monastiraki, Kolonaki are all within walking distance, from 1 minute away to a maximum of 15 minutes.
Athens in general is allways worth it to go there.
Thanks George. See you next time in Athens.
The location is unbeatable - a quiet side street, but seconds from the Acropolis site, museum and the adjoining metro, Easy walks to all the major sites. The flat is nice - a decent size, good bathroom, clean, well appointed. Its a raised ground floor flat, so the views either way aren't much, but you only have to turn the corner for views of Hadrian's Temple or the Acropolis.
